List of number one hits in Germany (2005)

This list contains all number one hits in Germany in 2005. There were 15 number one singles and 31 number one albums that year.

The single and album charts are compiled weekly by Media Control . They take into account both online download purchases and sales of physical sound carriers ( CDs ).

Since October 2005 the charts have been collected via the so-called chart week, i.e. H. from Friday to Thursday. This corresponds to the endeavors of the trade to publish new publications on Friday, i.e. at the beginning of the high-turnover weekend. As of the November 4, 2005 edition, the charts were officially published on the second Friday after the evaluation period. The charts were previously dated on Monday.
