The R254 Irtysh is a trunk road in Russia , which partly runs in Kazakhstan . It is part of the transcontinental road connection from Moscow to Vladivostok and leads from Chelyabinsk on the Urals via Omsk (on the eponymous Irtysh River ) to Novosibirsk . About 150 kilometers run across Kazakhstan's territory. It is part of the AH6 in the Asian trunk road network and also part of the European route 30 as far as Kurgan .

The street was given the number R254 in 2010. Before that, it was numbered M51.
