NGC 213 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBa in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 249 million light years from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered on October 14, 1784 by the German-British astronomer Wilhelm Herschel .
