NGC 190 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 505 million light years from the Milky Way and about 145,000 light years across. Together with PGC 2322 , PGC 2325 and PGC 2326 , it forms the Hickson compact group HCG 5 .
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 1565 , IC 1566 , IC 1567 , IC 1568 .

The object was discovered on October 22, 1886 by the American astronomer Lewis A. Swift .
