The National Assembly ( Fri : Assemblée Nationale du Togo ) is the Parliament in unicameral of Togo .

In the National Assembly there are 91 MPs, who are elected for five years according to proportional representation. The last elections took place on July 25, 2013, the next ones are scheduled for 2018.

In the 2013 elections , the National Assembly was increased by 10 people to 91 members.

    Parliament building

    The National Assembly has its seat in the capital Lomé . The building was opened in 1975 and, in addition to the National Assembly, also houses the National Museum of Togo . The three-wing, concave building is called the Palais des Congrès .
