Senate (Liberia)

The Senate of Liberia ( English Senate of Liberia ) is the upper house of the Liberian parliament . The House of Commons is formed by the House of Representatives .

In the Senate, each of the 15 counties of Liberia is equally represented by two members.

The last elections to the Senate took place on October 11, 2005. The elected members took office in January 2006.
