The Island Council of Tristan da Cunha ( English Island Council ) is the parliament in the unicameral system of Tristan da Cunha , an equal part of the British overseas territory of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha .

The council has its seat in the Government Building Whitehall or H'admin Building in the capital Edinburgh of the Seven Seas . He is headed by the Chief Islander . The task of the island council consists in advising the administrator of Tristan da Cunha , the representative of the governor .

The last election took place in 2019 .
