Daschower Moor nature reserve

The Daschower Moor nature reserve is a 91 hectare nature reserve in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is located northeast of Lübz , east of Gallin and was expelled on October 1, 1990. The purpose of protection consists in the maintenance and development of a bog site, which is characterized by alternating open and wooded areas and is an important habitat for amphibians and large bird species. The state of the area is assessed as satisfactory. Even after a bed sill was installed in 1993, the water balance of the moor has not yet stabilized sufficiently. It is not possible to inspect the protected areas. The Daschower See is located not far east of the protected area .
