The Binnensalzwiese nature reserve near Sülten is a nature reserve west of the village of Sülten in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It covers an area of 17 hectares, which was designated on March 3, 1994, an expansion took place in 1999. The area borders on the Warnow in the west . The special character as a salt meadow far away from the sea arises from the escape of salty groundwater in the area of the meadows, creating a habitat for salt-tolerant plants . Spoonweed and broad-leaved orchid grow in large populations in early summer.

The protection goal is to maintain, develop and maintain the largest inland salt meadow in the state. The state of the area is rated as satisfactory. Extensive drainage measures in GDR times still have a negative effect on the areas. The meadows are managed through the use of grassland in accordance with nature conservation principles.

The nature reserve is located in the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park . Large parts of the nature reserve are part of the FFH area Binnensalzwiese near Sülten .
