Obersiebenbrunn is located in Marchfeld in Lower Austria. The area of the market town covers 26.92 square kilometers. 19.7 percent of the area is forested.
In Obersiebenbrunn is to the Marchfeldkanal belonging top Siebenbrunner channel of Stempfelbach supplied with Danube water.

Population development
In the Popreg database, 1708 inhabitants were determined for 2010. According to the results of the 2001 census, there were 1416 inhabitants. In 1991 the market town had 1179 inhabitants, in 1981 1149 and in 1971 1286 inhabitants.

Culture and sights
- Obersiebenbrunn Palace : The early baroque palace was once owned by Prince Eugen , it was acquired by the Coptic Church in 2001 , renovated and a monastery was built there. In addition to the main house, there are also the palace gardens, the baroque garden pavilion, richly decorated with paintings, and a number of outbuildings under monument protection. There has also been a Coptic Museum there since 2014.
- Catholic parish church Obersiebenbrunn Mariä Himmelfahrt: Baroque church, built in the years 1722 to 1724 under Cardinal Prince Archbishop Sigismund von Kollonitz . From the history of the church: According to the archbishopric scheme, the church existed before 1333. The first church was built around 1250. 1722 demolition and rebuilding due to dilapidation. Inauguration in 1724. The parish registers go back to 1657. The list of pastors goes back completely to 1654 - incompletely to before 1544. After the bells had been delivered in the First and Second World Wars , they had to be added in 1924 and 1957. According to oral tradition, the crypt of the old church should still be under the church.

economy
In 2001 there were 48 non-agricultural workplaces, and according to the 1999 survey, there were also 35 agricultural and forestry holdings. According to the 2001 census, the number of people in employment at the place of residence was 681. The employment rate in 2001 was 50.28 percent.

- Rail: The Siebenbrunn-Leopoldsdorf train station in the municipality is located on the Marchegger Ostbahn . The Siebenbrunn – Engelhartstetten local railway began here until 2002 .
education
In 1914 there was an agricultural college in Obersiebenbrunn. Currently (2018) a modular school system is being offered that leads to admission to the master craftsman's examination. The main building was built in 1913/14 and has a simple home style decor.
