- The church of St. Eulogius in the Aftholderberg district was built in 1824 as a fortified church. The basis was the Gothic. The round vaulted ceiling with frescoes and two galleries with rustic painting testify to rural folk art. The location of the Eulogius Church on the European main watershed is a curiosity . One side of the roof drains to the Rhine and the other to the Danube .
- The St. Wendelin chapel , built in the middle of the 11th century, and the St. Benedikt hermitage on the remains of Ramsberg Castle are on the neighboring Hattenweiler area , but are traditionally more closely connected with Großschönach. Since 2011 it has been an independent shared apartment with four residents of the Lautenbach community. For this purpose, the outside facade was renovated by the municipality. In front of the building there is a fountain with a stone portrait and a polygonal basin.
- There used to be five mills at Herdwanger Hegelbach.
