Participation of the US-American Fed Cup team

The United States Fed Cup team is the tennis national team of the United States , which in the Fed Cup is used. The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup) is the most important competition for national teams in women's tennis, analogous to the Davis Cup for men.

history

In 1963, the USA first took part in the Fed Cup. The US team has won the title 17 times so far. In 2011 the team was relegated to World Group II for the first time.
