Buildings

The Catholic parish church Maria Immaculata is located in Unlingen, a Baroque church with a high altar completed in 1713 by the Riedlingen sculptor Johann Joseph Christian and his son Franz Joseph Christian . The baroque monastery chapel of St. Maria Visitation from the 17th century was part of the former Franciscan monastery, but some of the buildings that were built into the 15th century were demolished. The oldest structures preserved by the monastery, the east and west wing of the monastery complex, date from 1671.

In Dietelhofen is the baroque church of St. Nikolaus, which dates back to a chapel from the 14th century. The art treasures of the church include various figures of saints from the 15th century, including the crescent moon Madonna from the Syrlin workshop in Ulm around 1480, which is kept in the Rottenburg Diocesan Museum.

In Göffingen there is the baroque church of St. Nikolaus, which has been documented since the 13th century and was given its current appearance through renovations in the second half of the 18th century. The ceiling painting in the nave, dated 1763, and a preserved bell refer to Baron Franz Marquard von Hornstein as the builder of today's baroque church. The church has late baroque paintings by Martin Kuen . The church tower, which collapsed on March 15, 1947, was rebuilt true to the original.

In Möhringen there was once a Liebfrauenkapelle, mentioned as early as the 16th century, which was replaced by the neo-Romanesque church of St. Vitus from 1863 to 1865 when it was raised to the status of an independent parish. The church treasure includes liturgical devices from the previous building.

In Uigendorf there is the baroque church of St. Ulrich, which has already been documented in the late 13th century and was given its present form through renovations in the 17th and 18th centuries. The oldest part of the church is the west tower, built in 1699. Figures of saints, pietas, crucifixes and candlestick angels from the 15th and 16th centuries are significant in terms of art history.
