Background information
After Cyrus finished filming With You by My Side , she returned to Los Angeles to rehearse for her tour. In a telephone interview with radio host Ryan Seacrest for the radio show On Air With Ryan Seacrest , Cyrus said that instead of the usual three months, she only got three weeks of rehearsal for her tour. In an interview with MTV News , she stated that there will be no guest appearances during the tour due to time constraints. particularities
Cyrus on her "flying" motorcycle at her concert in San Antonio
In honor of Michael Jackson, Cyrus studied a small dance sequence from his hit Thriller , which she performed after the song Fly on the Wall . She also changed various passages in the song Party in the USA in memory of Michael Jackson. In some cities, Cyrus replaced the word "Nashville" in the text passage "It's definitely not a Nashville party" in the name of the city in which it was performing.
After all the tickets in Europe were sold out, Cyrus agreed to give a fifth concert in London on December 29, 2009. These tickets went on sale on October 30, 2009. During her two appearances in Ireland, Cyrus did without the “flying” motorcycle in the song I Love Rock'n'Roll because the construction of the hall did not allow it. No special effects had to be missed at any of the other concerts.
Due to a sore throat in Miley, three concerts had to be postponed: the first on October 2nd in Omaha was on October 13th, the second on October 3rd in Kansas City on October 17th and the third on October 4th in St. Louis was made up on October 28th.
All concerts in London were filmed and published on the DVD of the deluxe edition of their album Can't Be Tamed .
