The Egyptian U-20 national soccer team is a selection team of Egyptian soccer players. It is subject to the Egyptian Football Association and represents it internationally at the U-20 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations or at the U-20 African Championships and U-20 World Championships .
The team has been four times African champions ( 1981 , 1991 , 2003 and 2013 ). She achieved her best result at a World Cup in 2001 in Argentina , when she lost to Ghana in the semi-finals and was third with a 1-0 win in the game for third place against Paraguay . In 2009 she was eliminated from the home World Cup in the round of 16.
