Due to his strong performance as a rookie , Radulow was nominated for the YoungStars Game taking place in the framework of the NHL All-Star Game 2007 , in which he ran up in the starting line-up of the Western Conference team.

On July 11, 2008 it was announced that Radulov will play in the 2008/09 season in the Russian Continental Hockey League for Salavat Yulayev Ufa . However, Radulow was under contract with the Nashville Predators for the 2008/09 season. Since Radulov violated an agreement between the NHL and all international ice hockey federations by signing with the Russian ice hockey club, he was banned from international games by the IIHF on July 18 . Ilya Kotschewrin, Vice President of the KHL, announced that Radulov signed the contract with Salawat Yulayev Ufa on July 5, and since the special agreement between the NHL and all international ice hockey clubs has only been in effect since July 10, this Radulov will not concerns.

On March 21, 2012, the Nashville Predators announced at a press conference that Radulow will switch to the Predators again with immediate effect and will be eligible to play for the National Hockey League during the 2011/12 regular season . Radulow had agreed on the engagement with the Predators because management had given him the opportunity to bring his last year of contract in Nashville to an end. At the end of the season he left the team and moved back to the KHL on July 2, 2012 at HK ZSKA Moscow .

After four years in Moscow, Radulov decided to return to the NHL in July 2016 and signed a one-year contract with the Canadiens de Montréal . There he was the second best scorer of the team with 54 points, but could not agree on a further contract with the Canadiens. As a result, he signed a new five-year contract as a free agent with the Dallas Stars in July 2017 , which should earn him an average annual salary of 6.25 million US dollars. In the 2018/19 season he reached 1.0 points per game for the first time in the NHL.
