Blazon : “In silver on a curved green shield base, a red stone with the silver number 1788 between two green oaks growing out of the outside of the shield base and disappearing into the edge of the shield; the base of the shield is covered with a silver wave bar. "

The coat of arms was designed by the municipal heraldist Jörg Mantzsch and decided on March 13, 2013 by the municipality to be a guide. It refers to the so-called foundation stone, which bears the founding year of the municipality, whereby the number is not considered a written statement, but heraldically as an element of the monument. The arched base of the shield and the wave beam symbolize the mountain (place name) and the river Ohe. The oaks are a characteristic tree population that lines the exit roads.

The colors of the community are: red and white.
