Correns is a French municipality with 903 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Var in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . The village is located near Brignoles and is surrounded by forests of the Devençon de l'Inarden region .
Correns is the first organic village in France ( Village Bio ).

Château Miraval
The Château Miraval also belongs to the municipality, in the direction of Brignoles . In the 1970s, the castle was the home of the Miraval music studio, where numerous music greats such as Pink Floyd , AC / DC , The Cure , Sting and Chris Rea recorded music albums. Pink Floyd played parts of their double album The Wall here from January to July 1979 .
The actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt later bought the château and moved there in 2009. The castle was once again known in the press when two Hollywood greats used it as a backdrop for their wedding on August 23, 2014. The castle is now the seat of a wine producer.
