Since 1923 the former cable factory has been called Câbleries et Tréfileries de Cossonay SA, today Venoge Parc SA. Since 1913 the station has only been called Cossonay. In 1897 the Cossonay Gare-Ville (CG) funicular was opened . From Cossonay-Gare there are buses to Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne and L'Isle . The old town center of Penthalaz is connected to the public transport network by a local bus that also serves the villages of Daillens and Penthaz.
