Location of Dolders in Kempten (Allgäu)

Dolders is a wasteland and part of the independent city of Kempten (Allgäu) . Dolders belonged to the municipality of Sankt Mang until 1972 , which was added to Kempten that year. The place takes its name from the former farm owner.

In 1627 a property was mentioned in writing "at the Tolder". Until then, the farm belonged to Wagegg , was free - that is, it did not belong to the prince monastery of Kempten - or had just been established. In 1738 Dolders was a single farm, in 1819 with nine and in 1900 with four residents. In the west there used to be a fish breeding pond created by the prince monastery with a drain towards Binzenried . According to the census in August 1954, five people lived in the wasteland.
