Voglsang (unofficially Vogelsang ) is the name of a wasteland in the independent city of Kempten (Allgäu) .

The first mention of the place Voglsang, which is controversial, was in 1417. It is certain that residents of Voglsang signed the Memming Treaty in 1526.

Voglsang belonged to the Hauptmannschaft Lenzfried , whose area was initially added to the city of Kempten in 1811, but then became part of the community of St. Mang when the community was formed in 1818 .

In 1738 there was a farm with weaving justice in Voglsang.

According to the house statistics around 1800, the Sölde (Wagegg) had an area of ​​15.12 daily work or 5.15 hectares .

In 1819, a year after the rural community of Sankt Mang was formed , Voglsang consisted of a farm with seven residents.

In 1900 there was a farm with nine residents in Voglsang. The population in 1900 was the same as in 1954.
