Borstadels is a hamlet and part of the independent city of Kempten (Allgäu) .

In 1451 the village was mentioned as a monastery fiefdom with the name of zem Borstadels . The place was attached to the rural community of Sankt Lorenz in 1818 and was subject to the parish Heiligkreuz . On July 1, 1972, Sankt Lorenz was incorporated into the city of Kempten.
