Sommers is a hamlet in the district of Sankt Mang in Kempten (Allgäu) . The first mention of Sommers was in 1417.

In 1832 the hamlet had 4 houses with 30 residents. In 1819 there were 4 properties with 29 residents in Sommers. In 1900 the population fell by 4. In 1954, 24 people lived in the hamlet. According to the last census of May 25, 1987, Sommers had 18 inhabitants in 4 buildings with living space or five apartments.

The hamlet belonged to the Hauptmannschaft Lenzfried . In house statistics from around 1800 4 goods were recorded, which together covered an area of ​​177.78 days' work (60.57 hectares ).
