Parish Church of St. Michael

Breiten (also width or Auf der Breite ) is a district of the independent city of Kempten (Allgäu) . This district is located in the north of the city and borders the Lotterberg district . The name of the district probably goes back to a large piece of land.

In 1818 there was still no latitude or latitude in the register of places, but a sub-section in the same position can be found on land panels . In 1925, 21 people lived in the village. On October 1, 1934, Breiten was removed from the town of Sankt Lorenz and joined to the town of Kempten together with other localities.

The parish church of St. Michael , consecrated in 1966, stands on the width .
