Grub is a wasteland in the independent Bavarian city of Kempten (Allgäu) . The village was first mentioned in 1669 and in 1819, a year after Grub had formed part of the rural community of Sankt Mang , consisted of two properties with nine residents. In 1900 the number of residents increased by three. The 1954 census showed a population of 14. In 1972, Grub and the Sankt Mang settlement association were reunited with Kempten.
