Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) is a pop ballad by Stefani Germanotta and Martin Kierszenbaum, which was recorded in 2008 by the American pop singer Lady Gaga for her debut album The Fame . The single was released in physical format only in Australia , New Zealand and France . Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) is the fourth single by the artist.

Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) comes from the early collaboration between Lady Gaga and Vincent Herbert , the A&R manager of their record company Cherrytree Records and Intercope Records in the USA. The single was first released on January 10, 2009 in New Zealand and was released a few days later on January 30, 2009 in Australia. The lyrics focus on the end of a relationship that was doomed from the start. Due to the small number of pieces, the Australian pressing of the single is a coveted collector's item and achieves an average of over 200 euros at online auction houses . Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) was the second most played track on Australian radio for the week of December 15, 2008.

Music video

The music video for Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) was inspired by the 1950s . It was filmed on January 9, 2009. The director was Joseph Kahn . At the beginning of the video you can see Lady Gaga driving a Vespa. In the first 20 seconds only men, Lady Gaga and them were filmed. In the first main scene you see Gaga laughing and cracking jokes with some friends while she is standing on the seat. Then you see Gaga sleeping in a bed, waking up and revealing her pink high heels. Lady Gaga sings and cooks for a man in the house while she dances. Finally, Gaga is shown in a yellow floral dress and a yellow wristwatch. Gaga said about the video that she "wanted to show another side of herself - maybe a domestic 'girly' side" and that she "wanted to create a video that burns holes in everyone's brains".

Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) debuted in Australia on January 18, 2009 at number 38 due to high download numbers. The following week the song climbed to number 32 and on March 1, 2009 , Eh, Eh became Lady Gaga's third single, which made it into Australia's Top Twenty. After 13 weeks in the Australian charts was Eh, Eh with gold awarded. In New Zealand Eh, Eh debuted on January 19, 2009 at number 40. After a few weeks in the charts, Eh, Eh reached its highest position at number 9, where it remained unchanged for three weeks and thus finally the third top ten success for Lady Gaga in New Zealand was. On May 24th, 2009 Eh, Eh was finally awarded gold in New Zealand. In Canada, the song reached number 68 through downloads, but flew off the charts the following week. Meanwhile, Eh, Eh debuted in Sweden on April 2, 2009, at number 20 and making it to number 2, and in Denmark it climbed to number 28 and made it to number 14.
