The FA Cup 1992/93 was the 112th staging of the world's oldest soccer cup tournament; The Football Association Challenge Cup , or FA Cup for short . The cup competition ended with the replay of the final at Wembley Stadium on May 20, 1993. It was the last time the Cup was played in a new final. In 1999 the penalty shoot-out was introduced after extra time. The winner of this event was Arsenal FC .

The FA Cup is played in rounds. Any team that has a certain level of performance and an appropriate playing field can take part. The game is played i. d. Usually only with a first leg. In the event of a tie, there will be a second leg. If the second leg also ends in a draw, the game goes into extra time or penalty shoot-out. Each winner receives a bonus from the television money, which is staggered according to the round.
Main round
First main round
The games were played on the weekend of November 14, 1992. The replay mainly took place on November 25th.
Second main round
The games were played on the weekend of December 5, 1992. Most of the replays took place on the 15th and 16th of the month.
Third main round
The games were played on the weekend of January 2, 1993. Necessary replay games were mostly scheduled for January 12th and 13th.
Fourth main round
The games took place on the weekend of January 23, 1994. The required replay matches were mainly played on February 3rd.
