Fatal Embrace is a Berlin thrash metal band that was founded in 1993 under the name Nosferatu, dissolved in 1995 and reorganized in 1997.

history

The band was founded in 1993 under the name Nosferatu. Four weeks later, the band then renamed itself Fatal Embrace. In 1994 they released the demo Death's Embrace . In addition, the first appearances followed together with Postmortem and Necrosist . In 1995, further appearances followed together with Armored Angel and Enslaved . A video called Live at Huxley’s was also created from this concert . The group also played with other bands such as Disharmonic Orchestra , Blood , Fleshless , Dementor , Orth and Living Sorrow . In the summer of the year the band broke up for the time being due to musical and personal differences.

In 1997 the band got together again, some of which had been replaced. The group spent the year writing new songs. In 1998 the demo The Way to Immortality was released. The band also contributed a song for the CD sampler of Ablaze magazine and played concerts with Grave Digger , Molly Hatchet and Ferox .

Another demo followed in 1999 with The Ultimate Aggression . As a result, the band reached a contract with Gutter Records . In addition, the bands held other concerts with bands such as Destruction , Necronomicon , Desaster , Metal Church , Witchburner , Krisiun and Eminenz . In 2000 the debut album The Ultimate Aggression was released. The album was also released in the US , but via Pavement Music . In addition, the bands held performances along with Destillery , Trimonium , Wotan , Moshquito , Manos and Warhead . She also supported the bands Halford and Overkill in Berlin .

In 2001 the band went to the Spiderhouse studio with producer Harris Johns to record the next album. In addition, the band split from their label, so that the single Returned to Hell was released without the support of a label. In the same year the band also played concerts with Legacy, Seirim , Disruptor, Quasimodo, Anael , Caedes and Mortal Passion, as well as a small tour with Formula 1 and Gorgons Eyes . In 2002 the band reached a contract with Bruchstein Records , through which the band released the next album called Legions of Armageddon . In addition, the band made a performance at the Polish Splash Open Air , together with Sinister and Grave . They also played on Fuck the Flut, along with bands like Saxon , Benediction , Grave, Iron Savior , Powergod and Doro . They also played concerts with Unpure , Morrigan and Eminenz. The band also did an almost three-week tour of Europe that year , along with Holy Moses and Desaster.

The following year the band separated from their label and signed a contract with MDM Berlin . This year the band played at various festivals such as the United Metal Maniacs Metal Meeting, the Fuck the Commerce and the Thrash 'Til Death Festival. The band also played with other bands such as Metal Inquisitor , Desaster, Menhir , Repent , Dismember , Benediction, Merciless , Final Breath , Necronomicon, Night in Gales , Hellish Crossfire , Delirious , Goddess of Desire , Stos , Hypnos and Sabbat .

In 2004 the band began writing new songs and released the single Assassination . The band also played together with other bands like Master , Reckless Tide , Maggots , Uncle Tom Angelripper , Vortex , Torment , Endstille and Stormwarrior . The band also went to the studio with Tom Angelripper to contribute backing vocals to his DVD. At the Berlin Antichristmas Metalmeeting the band performed together with Sodom .

In 2005 the band recorded another album under the direction of Harris Johns. The band also played concerts with Enthroned , Necronomicon, Witchburner, Attacker , Heathen , Steelpreacher, Unrest and Fleshless. The band also went on tour with Sodom and Vendetta . From the tour, the single was released Born in Blasphemy . The band also played with Destruction and Candlemass that year .

In 2006 the band played at various festivals together with Endstille, Trimonium , Thrudvangar , Soul Demise , My Cold Embrace and Bellgrave . In addition, the band held a tour through Europe together with Sodom, Assassin and Panzer Faust . They also played in Wroclaw , Poland , with the bands Turbo and Holy Moses also represented. That year the album Dark Pounding Steel was also released through Pure Steel Records . The reactions of the fans and the metal magazines were very euphoric and the band got a lot of interview requests. Bands like Jaguar and Vortex played at the release party .

In 2007 the band recorded a song for a tribute sampler for the band Tankard . The sampler was released via AFM Records . The band played concerts in France and Germany together with Hirax , Goddess of Desire, Nuclear Warfare , Resistance, Debauchery , Sabaton , Ravage , Stormrider , Palace , Inquisition , Morrigan , Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult , Setherial , Warhammer , Törr and Hateful Agony . The band also made an appearance with the band Warrant . In the same year the band also started writing new pieces.

In 2008, the band played at festivals, sharing stages with Unleashed , Protector , Minotaur , Fleshcrawl , Eminenz, Jack Slater , Nuclear Warfare, Contradiction , Pessimist , Evil Warriors , Harmony Dies and First Aid . The band also recorded their next album that year.

In 2009 the band played with Witchburner on the Chaos Empire Old School Thrash Night. In addition, a new drummer was represented in the band with Pulverizatör. The band played in Annaberg-Buchholz together with Sear Bliss and Dusken . Due to technical problems in the studio, the further processing of the new album was postponed, with Harris Johns again working as producer.

In 2010, Empires of Inhumanity was released through Metal Blade Records . After five years, the album Slaughter To Survive was released on November 20, 2015 on the Iron Shield Records label .
