The special airfield Illertissen is crow 2.8 km northeast of the city of Illertissen, in the district of Neu-Ulm and less than a kilometer north of the main road St 2018 on the west bank of the Little Roth .
Motor gliders and ultralight aircraft up to 4200 kg and helicopters up to 5000 kg are permitted. Model flying is also practiced at the airfield, north of the runway is a jump zone for parachutists who also use the airfield.
