The airfield Bad Endorf / Jolling is the airport of the Upper Bavarian market Bad Endorf in Rosenheim . It is run by the Bad Endorf - Prien am Chiemsee e. V. operated.

geography

The airfield is just under two kilometers north of the historic town center of Bad Endorf at an altitude of 515  m above sea level. NN in the parcel of Hochreut . The northern half of the runway is built over to the area of ​​the municipality of Halfing . history

Aviation has been in operation in Bad Endorf since the 1960s. In 1968 the site in Bad Endorf was moved into. Initially, a club house and an aircraft hangar were built there, and approval as a special landing site was then granted in 2002. Since then, further expansion has been ongoing.

The airfield is a special airfield for aircraft of all types up to 2000 kg maximum take-off weight (MTOW) and has no regulated operating times. The operator is the Luftsportverein Bad Endorf - Prien am Chiemsee e. V. Landing is only possible after prior notification ( PPR ). The place carries the ICAO code EDPC.

There is a farm building with a tower (frequency 118.915 MHz), a hangar, a gas station and the club house. Bicycles can be borrowed for excursions into the surrounding area.

Incidents

  • On July 6, 2014, an Alpi Aviation Pioneer 400 manned by three people landed hard and took off again. The aircraft finally crashed during an attempted emergency landing about two kilometers west of the airfield in a green area. The pilot was seriously injured and the aircraft was badly damaged.
