The airfield Gunzenhausen-Reutberg is a special airfield in Gunzenhäuser district Reutberg , located in the Middle Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen in northern Bavaria . The airfield is about 2 km east of the center of Gunzenhausen.
Flight operations
The airfield is approved for aircraft up to 2000 kg, motor gliders , gliders and ultralight aircraft .
The local aviation club owns four gliders, one of which is a two-seater Schleicher ASK 21 , two single-seat Schleicher ASW 20 and a single-seat Schempp-Hirth Discus CS . With its four gliders, the airfield offers good training and cross-country flight conditions. The club also owns two powered aircraft and one microlight. A Cessna 172 for powered flight training, a Robin DR400 for towing gliders and a Pioneer 200 from Alpi Aviation .
Sightseeing flights
The aviation association also organizes sightseeing flights in the nearby Franconian lake district - the three powered aircraft and the two-seater glider are available for this.
