Season course

Top scorer Sandra Smisek

Grün-Weiß Brauweiler defended the relay win in the north with one point ahead of victories. Overall, there were only a few other placements in the northern group. Siegen and FC Rumeln-Kaldenhausen swapped places 2 and 3, Tennis Borussia Berlin and VfR Eintracht Wolfsburg swapped places 7 and 8. Since VfR Eintracht Wolfsburg was threatened with bankruptcy, the women's football department went over to Wendschotter SV and stepped as WSV Wolfsburg.

In the south, the FSV Frankfurt drew lonely circles again. A new record was set with 99 goals scored. Alone the highly dangerous storm duo Sandra Smisek and Birgit Prinz together scored 48 goals. For the first time the SG Praunheim reached the finals and prevailed against the revived TuS Niederkirchen , who had brought Heidi Mohr back. Without Mohr, TuS Ahrbach fell back into midfield. Promoted TSV Crailsheim held the class with a total of seven goals scored. For this, the TuS Wörrstadt and again the SC 07 Bad Neuenahr got down.

The semi-finals were more exciting than ever. Only one goal was decisive for Siegen and Praunheim. Siegen prevailed in the final and won the last championship. After the season, the women's soccer department joined Sportfreunde Siegen .

The era of the SSG 09 Bergisch Gladbach also came to an end. In the qualification for the promotion round you were defeated by the Schmalfelder SV and then joined the TuS Köln rrh. at. VfL Wittekind Wildeshausen prevailed confidently in the promotion round . There was a photo finish around the second promotion place, which Schmalfelder SV could ultimately win. Hertha Zehlendorf's race to catch up came too late. In the south, the FSV Schwarzbach managed to immediately rise again, while the SC Sand made the leap into the upper house for the first time.
