Gerhard Garbers

Gerhard Garbers (born August 24, 1942 in Hamburg ) is a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

During his acting training Gustaf Gründgens offered him the role of the servant in Hamlet at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg in 1963 . Engagements in Bochum , Munich and Düsseldorf followed . From 1981 to 1993 he played again at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus and later for the Hamburger Kammerspiele. TV productions have been increasing since 1985: Garbers is particularly well-known as the police officer Eugen Möbius in Adelheid and her murderers at the side of Evelyn Hamann , who, as his divorced film wife, always knows how to harness him for herself. He also played in Peter Strohm and in Double Use .

In Hamburg's St. Pauli Theater he can be seen in the plays Auf der Reeperbahn - the St. Pauli Revue , The Boys with the Tüdelband and The Lord von Barmbeck .

As voice actors, Garbers lent his voice to Kabir Bedi ( Ashanti ), Gary Cooper ( Morocco , second dubbed version) and Kevin McCarthy ( Until Death Do You Part ). In the computer game Thief he set the antagonist Constantine to music. He also reads in numerous literary audio productions.
