The Mairie

Guerlédan is a French commune with 2,444 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany . It is the main town (chief lieu) of the canton of Mûr-de-Bretagne . It was created as Commune nouvelle by a decree of August 30, 2016 with effect from January 1, 2017, by merging the previous municipalities of Mûr-de-Bretagne and Saint-Guen . Since then, these have been Communes déléguées . Mûr-de-Bretagne is the main town (Chef-lieu).

The neighboring municipalities are Caurel in the northwest, Saint-Gilles-Vieux-Marché and Le Quillio in the north, Saint-Connec in the northeast, Saint-Caradec in the east, Kergrist and Neulliac in the south and Saint-Aignan in the west.

Lac de Guerlédan is the name of the reservoir that is distributed across the municipalities of Guerlédan, Saint-Aignan, Sainte-Brigitte , Bon Repos sur Blavet and Caurel and through which the Blavet flows.
