  • Sknyliw / Ukraine : South-west of Lviv , a Sukhoi Su-27 fighter plane crashes into the crowd of the audience in the worst aircraft accident to date , where it explodes. At least 77 spectators die, 115 more are injured. The fact that the machine was traveling too close to the ground indicates human error on the part of the two pilots.
