The men's 400-meter race at the 2019 World Athletics Championships took place on October 1st, 2nd and 4th, 2019 in Doha , Qatar .
42 athletes from 31 countries took part in the competition. The gold medal was won by Steven Gardiner after 43.48 s, silver went to Anthony Zambrano with 44.15 s and the bronze medal went to Fred Kerley with 44.17 s.
