List of the largest companies in Germany (Forbes 2000)

The ranking of the annual Forbes Global 2000 list , the 2000 largest listed companies in the world, is calculated from a combination of sales , net profit , assets and market value (see list of the largest companies in Germany for competing lists ). The placements of the companies in the equally weighted categories were added together to form a rank. The table also shows the headquarters , the industry and the number of employees. The figures are in billion US dollars and relate to the 2016 financial year , for the market value to the market price in May 2017.
