List of the largest companies in Germany (worldwide sales)
The following list shows the 100 largest companies in Germany in 2014 in terms of turnover (cf. list of the largest companies in Germany for competing lists ). The data was collected on the basis of the “Top 500” ranking, which is published annually by the daily newspaper Die Welt . The company data of the "Top 500" ranking was included in the list. There are some minor changes with regard to the following points:
- If necessary, amounts have been commercially rounded to the next full number.
- Companies that, according to the ranking, are active in at least four business areas, contain the indication “conglomerate” as an industry for the purpose of overview.
- Companies that are the subsidiary of a German parent company contain the information "(belonging to parent company XY)".
