Maria Hartmann (born June 19, 1958 in Hamburg ) is a German actress and radio play speaker .

Life

Maria Hartmann was trained as an actress by Boy Gobert and Peter Striebeck , and she also studied music at the Hamburg Conservatory . She had her first permanent engagement from 1978 to 1980 at the Thalia Theater in her hometown, another from 1980 to 1993 at the Staatliche Schauspielbühnen Berlin . After that she continued to work mainly in Berlin, at the Deutsches Theater , at the Schaubühne on Lehniner Platz , at the Renaissance Theater and at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm . Other stages in her career were in Germany and Austria. Hartmann made a guest appearance in Hamburg onErnst-Deutsch-Theater and the comedy Winterhuder Fährhaus , at the Fritz Rémond Theater in Frankfurt , at the Comedy in the Bayerischer Hof in Munich, at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt and at the Salzburg Festival , and she also had guest contracts with various touring theaters. She worked with well-known directors such as Hans Lietzau , Nicolas Brieger , Wolf-Dietrich Sprenger , Katharina Thalbach , Wilfried Minks and Niels-Peter Rudolph . In 1981 Hartmann was awarded the OE Hasse Prize .

Since the early 1980s, Maria Hartmann has also worked extensively in front of the camera. Between 1996 and 1999 she appeared in 26 episodes of the series Our Teacher Doctor Specht , she played in various episodes of the series Tatort , Der Alte and Siska , was in Max Färberböck's drama Anonyma - Eine Frau in Berlin in 2008 and in the multi-award-winning television film in 2011 Watch home video .
