The Guinean National Assembly ( French Assemblée nationale guinéenne ) is the national parliament in the unicameral system of Guinea .
114 members are elected to the National Assembly for five years each.

This parliament was elected for the first time in June 1995, the second time was the election to the National Assembly in June 2002 .
The next elections were supposed to take place in 2010, were postponed several times and finally took place as a parliamentary election on September 28, 2013 . The newly elected parliament met for the first time on January 13, 2014.

Based in the Palais du Peuple in Conakry
The National Assembly has its seat in the capital Conakry near Tombo Island .
The Palais du peuple was built in 1967 with Chinese support and served various cultural events. In 2008 the building was renovated.
