history

The small town of Annafeld was written before 1871 as "Annafeldt". It was founded on January 15, 1857, as noted in the official gazette of the royal Prussian government in Königsberg : “ The name Annafeldt has been added to the new mining on the Feldmark of the village of Schönfließ, in the Rastenburg district, without being included in the previous ones This changes something in communal, police and other circumstances ”. The place was a residential area in the municipality of Schönfließ (today in Polish Kraskowo ), from 1936 to 1945 an estate. In 1885 there were 44 registered residents in Annafeld, then 47 in 1905.

When all of southern East Prussia was transferred to Poland in 1945 as a result of the war , Annafeld was also affected. It received the Polish name form "Polany" and is now included as "Przysiółek wsi" after Kraskowo ( German  Schönfließ ). Thus it is a place within the urban and rural municipality of Korsze (Korschen) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ), until 1998 of the Olsztyn Voivodeship , since then it belongs to the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .
