Trzeciaki ( German Dreihöfen ) is a village in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the Gmina Korsze ( urban and rural municipality Korschen ) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ).
Geographical location
Trzeciaki is located in the northern center of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , 17 kilometers west of the district town of Kętrzyn ( German Rastenburg ).
history
The front of 1,785 Dreyhofen , 1820 Dreyhöfen and until 1945 three courtyards called place was a Vorwerk in Gutsbezirk Langheim ( Polish Łankiejmy ) of the county Rastenburg in the administrative district of Kaliningrad in the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged. On September 30, 1928, the Dreihöfen Vorwerk was reclassified from the Langheim manor district to the rural community of Sussnick (in Polish : Suśnik ).
When all of southern East Prussia was surrendered to Poland in 1945 as a result of the war , Dreihöfen was also affected. The small place received the Polish name form "Trzeciaki" and is today the seat of a Schulzenamt ( Polish Sołectwo ) and thus a place in the network of the urban and rural community of Korsze (Korschen) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ). In 2011 Trzeciaki had 16 inhabitants.

Dreihöfen was parish up to 1945 in the Evangelical Church Langheim ( Polish Łankiejmy ) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Catholic Church Rößel (Polish Reszel ) in the Diocese of Warmia .
Today Trzeciaki belongs to the Protestant parish Kętrzyn (Rastenburg) in the diocese of Masuria of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland and to the Catholic parish Łankiejmy in the current Archdiocese of Warmia .

Trzeciaki can be reached via a side road that branches off from Voivodeship Road 592 (former German Reichsstraße 135 ) in Łankiejmy (Langheim) and leads directly into town via Suśnik (Sussnick) . There is no connection to rail traffic .
