Wygoda ( German  Heinriettenhof ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the Gmina Korsze ( urban and rural community Korschen ) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ).

Geographical location

Wygoda is located in the northern center of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , 17 kilometers west of the district town of Kętrzyn ( German  Rastenburg ).

history

A forestry , surrounded by small farmsteads, determined the appearance of the small rural community Heinriettenhof before 1945. In 1874 it was incorporated into the newly established district of Langheim ( Łankiejmy in Polish ). Until 1945 this belonged to the district of Rastenburg in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1910 Heinriettenhof had 34 residents.

On September 30, 1928, the rural community Heinriettenhof gave up its independence and merged with the neighboring manor district Wendehnen ( Wandany in Polish ) to form the new rural community Wendehnen.

As a result of the war, all of southern East Prussia became part of Poland in 1945 . With him also Heinriettenhof, which now received the Polish name form "Wygoda". Today it is a hamlet ( Przysiółek in Polish ) and included in the village of Suśnik (Sußnick) ("wsi Suśnik") and thus a place in the network of the urban and rural community of Korsze (Korschen) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ) until 1998 Olsztyn Voivodeship , since then part of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .

church

Heinriettenhof was parish up to 1945 in the Evangelical Church Langheim in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Catholic Church Korschen (in Polish: Korsze ) in the Diocese of Warmia .

Today, on the Catholic side, Wygoda belongs to the church Wandany ( German:  Wendehnen ), a branch church of the parish Łankiejmy (Langheim) in the current Archdiocese of Warmia , on the Protestant side to the parish Kętrzyn (Rastenburg) with the branch parish Bartoszyce (Bartenstein) in the diocese of Masuria of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .

traffic

A side road leads to Wygoda today from Wandany (Wendehnen) . There is no connection to rail traffic .
