history
Klein Leunenburg was a large Vorwerk and was integrated into the municipality of Prassen ( Prosna in Polish ) until 1945 . Thus it was a place within the district of Rastenburg in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . The Klein Leunenburger Gut was part of the large property of the zu Eulenburg-Prassen family and mostly leased. The manor house with its park survived the war. The single-story mansion was built at the beginning of the 20th century.
In 1945 Klein Leunenburg was in consequence of the war with the entire southern East Prussia to Poland handed over and received the Polish form of the name "Sątoczek". As a settlement ( Osada in Polish ) it is now part of the urban and rural municipality of Korsze (Korschen) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ), until 1998 of the Olsztyn Voivodeship , since then it has belonged to the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship .
church
Until 1945 Klein Leunenburg was parish in the Protestant Church of Leunenburg ( Polish Sątoczno ) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Catholic Church Sturmhübel (Polish Grzęda ) in the Diocese of Warmia .
Today, on the Catholic side, Sątoczek belongs to the parish of Sątoczno in what is now the Archdiocese of Warmia , and on the Protestant side to the parish Kętrzyn (Rastenburg) with the subsidiary churches Barciany (Barten) and Bartoszyce (Bartenstein) in the Masuria diocese of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
