Dłużec Mały ( German  Klein Langwalde ) is a small place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the Gmina Korsze ( urban and rural municipality Korschen ) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ).

Geographical location

Dłużec Mały is located in the northern center of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , 23 kilometers northwest of the district town of Kętrzyn ( German  Rastenburg ).

history

Before 1945 was Kleinlangheim Walde a large farm, and a living space within the Gutsbezirks (1928: Landsgemeinde ) Trust activities ( Polish Głowbity ) in the county Rastenburg in the administrative district of Kaliningrad in the Prussian province of East Prussia .

As a result of the war, Klein Langwalde came to Poland in 1945 along with all of southern East Prussia and was given the Polish form of name “Dłużec Mały”. Today's settlement ( Polish Osada ) is a place within the urban and rural community of Korsze (Korschen) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ), until 1998 the Olsztyn Voivodeship , since then the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship .

Klein Langwalde was parish in the Protestant Church of Leunenburg ( Polish: Sątoczno ) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Catholic Church Sturmhübel (Polish: Grzęda ) in the Diocese of Warmia .

Today Dłużec Mały belongs on the catholic side to the parish Łankiejmy (Langheim) in the current Archdiocese of Warmia , on the Protestant side to the parish Kętrzyn (Rastenburg) with the branch churches Barciany (Barten) and Bartoszyce (Bartenstein) in the diocese of Masuria of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .

Dłużec Mały is located north of the provincial road 592 and can be reached from Kowalewo Małe (Wotterkeim) via a side road, which continues as a land route to Dłużec Wielki (Great Long Forest) .
