Ramerberg is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim and a member of the Rott am Inn administrative community .

history
"Rumaerberc" is mentioned for the first time in 1137 in a document from the Attl monastery , which it belonged to until 1803 . Ramerberg belonged to the Rentamt München and the district court Wasserburg . Ramerberg became an independent political municipality in 1818 as part of the administrative reforms in Bavaria .
With the opening of the Rosenheim – Mühldorf railway line , Ramerberg was connected to the railway network on May 1, 1876 . Ramerberg is connected to the regional traffic of Upper Bavaria by bus route 9416 . The line connects the place with Rosenheim , Rott am Inn , Pfaffing , Edling and Wasserburg am Inn .

Official description of the coat of arms: The three blue, standing diamonds symbolize the 800-year church affiliation to Attl Monastery. The golden cauldron above red flames on a black background was taken from the coat of arms of the Kern family on Zellerreith. The red ibex trunk in silver indicates the Katzbach family
