When ex-chief inspector Hajo Trautzschke took piano lessons from Hanna Fröhlich, his uncle Michael Fröhlich asked for help. A little later, Michael Fröhlich was hit by a car. He has a suspicion that his family wanted to kill him so that they can continue doing questionable business abroad in the future. All of this awakens Hajo Trautzschke's old police instincts, which is why he investigates on his own against the will of SOKO boss Ina Zimmermann and thus brings out family intrigues and conspiracy theories.

After Commissioner Tom Kowalski is attacked by a young junkie at an ATM, but can fend off the attacker, he lets go of the perpetrator, whom he apparently knew. A short time later, René Makowski, a crystal meth dealer, is shot. 370 5 Trumpet maker 22nd November 2019 Robert del Maestro Ulf Tschauder 4.46 million 396
In their current case, the investigators are dealing with the kidnapping of the trumpet maker Peter Werth. Since the kidnapper seems to know his victim very well, suspicion falls on a perpetrator from Werth's immediate environment. The sum of the ransom note seems just as strange. When Werth is later found dead, the tide turns. Both the family members and Harald Borken, a former employee, are the focus of the investigation. Jan Maybach in particular was personally affected by the case, as his own father recently passed away.

One of the first leads leads to dealer Dunja Rattke, a competitor of the victim who has lost an important customer through Eva Böhme, namely City Councilor Falkenberg. The investigators find Jutta Wagner slain in her pub, which has not been doing well for years. The focus of the investigation is restaurateur Finn Kern, who wanted to buy the pub to turn it into a hip bar. But Jutta Wagner's son Johannes could also have a motive, as he tried several times to persuade his mother to sell. Meanwhile, Commissioner Ina Zimmermann discovers that her son Paul has brought his first girlfriend home with him. His father, Florian Rot, immediately liked the inspector.

This was noticed earlier through acts of violence and is currently on probation. In addition, the inspectors interviewed Nikolaus Behrend, a rather reserved classmate who had made friends with the victim. Commissioner Tom Kowalski's daughter Jackie begins studying art in Halle. But when Tom Kowalski finds out who Jackie's art professor in Halle is, he becomes concerned: Jonas Korda was the main suspect in an earlier, unsolved case in which the student Scarlet Schenk disappeared without a trace. At that time it was suspected that Jonas Korda was having an affair with the student and was connected to her disappearance, but nothing could be proven to him. This leads the investigator to investigate on his own in a foreign state.

Sofia Lazarev, a young professional climber, is killed in a climbing hall. It is not a tragic fall, but murder. The circumstances of the death are similar to an unsolved case in which the young police student Verena Wolter died five years ago. After a suspect is finally caught in both cases, he is murdered in custody shortly afterwards. The murderer is suspected in police circles, so Verena Wolter's father, who is also a police officer, comes into the focus of the investigation, as he may have taken revenge on his daughter's murderer. Commissioner Kim Nowak is also suspected because she was friends with the dead police student. After an investigation error by Jan Maybach, public prosecutor Binz starts an internal investigation.

The young trans woman Ria is murdered in cold blood. A trans-hostile hate crime is suspected, but Dagmar Schnee suspects a family motive behind the crime. One of the suspects is Clemens Schnee, father of Ria and ex-husband of Dagmar Schnee. He is said not to have accepted that his son wanted to live as a woman and is said to be prone to violence. In this case, the investigators are supported by Lydia Wolf, a transsexual colleague. But when she herself fell victim to an attack, her life was now in danger.

In addition, the young Sina Doberstein threatens to jump too, which she can stop Dagmar Schnee from doing at the last moment. In the process, she learns from Sina that her brother Sascha was involved in a lawsuit for grievous bodily harm. Paul Wiegand was the only eyewitness to exonerate Sascha, but now he's lying dead on the sidewalk. The case is very close to Dagmar Schnee, as she knows the siblings Sina and Sascha from earlier and feels jointly responsible for their unsuccessful life.

Lazlow Trimmborn, the neighbor of Kim Nowak's mother Monja, was killed with a blank gun. Perhaps the Internet forum "Connewitz helps", in which the victim hooked up with women, has something to do with the murder. Guest actors: Carina Wiese as Monja Nowak, Helene Grass as Tabea Trimmborn, Raúl Semmler as Björn Krapp, Maria Radomski as Elli Krapp, David Simon as Hannes Sönlein, Alvar Julian Goetze as Niklas Trimmborn, Erik Köhler as Lazlow Trimmborn
