history
The history of the castle goes back to the 12th century. The eastern part was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1732 .
In 2010 the castle was sold by the Künigl family after a lengthy public discussion due to inheritance issues. The new owner is Ingomar Gatterer, a bus operator from Pusteria.
