This list contains castles and palaces B, b , residential towers T, t , mansions A, a and castle ruins R, r in South Tyrol by location. The Passeirer Schildhöfe SH and some villas V, v , which were noble seats , are also included. As far as is known, the noble families who had their headquarters in the buildings or who resided there are also included in the list.

In the listed objects is the building type ( type ) with capital letters , with not listed properties with lower case letters written.

The list was drawn up on the basis of the South Tyrolean List of Historic Monuments, which for the most part covers the inventory.
