Tannay is a French commune with 156 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Vouziers , the canton of Vouziers (until 2015 Le Chesne ) and the Argonne Ardennaise municipal association .

Tannay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Mont-Dieu in the northeast, Sy in the southeast, Les Petites-Armoises in the south, Le Chesne in the west and Sauvilles in the northwest.
